andofficialsfirstwinkat,thenconniveat,thenfomentandencourage
murder.
ThisisnoJerusalem,no"CityuponaHill."ThisisBabylon;itis
Nineveh.ItistheAugeanstables,notanhonestrepublic.Jeffersonians
sawnothingattractiveintheprospectoftheUnitedStatesreplacing
GreatBritainastheworld'shegemonicpower.
