Guess the film...family are movie stars

A MOVIE-MAD family are
beating lockdown boredom
by recreating their favourite
scenes and then asking people
to guess the film.
The Taylors began by
posting their photos to
friends and family.
But the snaps proved so
popular they have set up an
Instagram account called
guessthemovie8 so everyone
can join in the fun.
Mum Steph, 36, who takes
part in the scenes with
husband Matt, 37, and their
children Edith, seven, Arthur,
two and 17-week-old Olive,
said: “We just think of films we
enjoy and then find stuff in our
wardrobe that fits.
“We wanted to make our
friends and family smile, and
it was incredibly well received
by them.
“Then they started to send
the photos out to their friends
and we started receiving
messages asking where the
latest photo was.

“It’s been a real giggle and a
welcome distraction for us.”
The family, from
Twickenham, south-west
London, have a good rummage
around their home each day to
find props and costumes.
So far they have used their
imaginations to turn a mop into
a microphone stand, a car
blanket into a kilt and laundry
basket into a bicycle bag.
Their efforts are being
appreciated far and wide,
with fan Sarah
Arrowsmith writing:
“Brilliant guys best
bit of fun.”
Kat Beadle
added: “Every
one of these is
so good lol.”
And Ina
Kirstein said:
“So clever.”

THE family of a “scared and nervous”
British woman stranded in Central
America by the coronavirus pandemic
is calling on the Government to bring
her home.
Freya Madeley, 20, had been
volunteering as an English teacher in a
rural part of Honduras.
It is understood the British Embassy
secured her a seat on a flight to Zurich
tomorrow, but her family say the five-
hour taxi ride to the Honduran capital
Tegucigalpa is too dangerous.
Freya’s mother Maria, 50, said:
“She’s scared, she’s nervous.
“Food is getting scarce there. At the
moment there is a complete lockdown
with gangs and police trying to

control  it. She hasn’t got much local
currency. She’s completely stuck.”
The family, from Nailsworth,
Gloucestershire, are calling on the
Government to arrange a repatriation
flight for her and other Britons from
an airport closer to where she is.
Maria said her daughter had her
bags on a flight to Frankfurt last week
but did not secure a seat, while
another young British woman she was
volunteering with flew home.
Freya’s sister Holly, 24, said: “She

has been warned by locals that the
police have the authority to shoot
anyone who runs away from them.
“My sister is very afraid, and
our whole family is worried for
her safety.”
A Foreign and Commonwealth
Office spokeswoman said: “We know
it’s a difficult time for many British
travellers abroad – especially those
with challenging circumstances.
“We’ll continue working around the
clock to bring people home.”
