There is a big difference between downloading a game from a shop and streaming a game from a
service. When you download a game, you transfer a copy from the store to your local hard-drive, and
then you own it and can turn it on whenever you want. When you stream a game, it’s never on your
hard drive. Instead, it’s on a server somewhere else and you play it over the internet rather than off
your hard drive. So you never actually own the game, but that is why these streaming services are

APPLE ARCADE: This service is focused on
iOS games, so will allow you to play them
on your iPhone, iPad or Mac, or on your TV
using Apple TV. Technically it’s not actually a
streaming service as the games will download
to your device, but it will be subscription
based, giving you access to tonnes of games
games on any device; even your mobile
phone. It has developed a system to easily
allow developers to adapt their games for
touchscreens, too, or you can use a normal
Bluetooth controller. We’ve also ready seen
games like Halo working on a mobile, which
is impressive!for one low price. It won’t just be any games
on the Apple Arcade, either. Apple will
choose the best, premium games for this
service. So those are games that cost money
to play and don’t have microtransactions.

deep an enjoyable.
