- Set the source point on the opposite cheek. The answer is to
think symmetrically and look to the opposite cheek, which has
a large area of similarly toned and textured skin just right for
healing. Alt-click (Option-click) on the other cheek, opposite
the scar, to set the source point, and then move your brush to
the scar and start painting. Almost immediately, you’ll discover
the problem.
As indicated in Figure 4-32, as you move along the scar, the
source point indicator shows you that you’ve moved way off into
the right side of her jacket, and the preview of the information
Photoshop is using to heal the scar does not bode well. When
you let go of the mouse button, you see disturbing results like
those in the bottom image in Figure 4-32. Press Ctrl-Z (�-Z)
to undo yet again. The approach of using the opposite cheek is
still sound, but it will require some finesse.
