Figure 5-15.
- Magically make a third copy. Rather than making you repeat
the entire procedure in Step 12, Photoshop gives you a fairly
amazing option for repeating a transformation. Click the Glass
2 layer to select it. Press and hold the Alt (Option) key and
choose Edit→Transform→Again.
Then sit back and be dazzled as Photoshop repeats the duplica-
tion, scaling, and positioning proportionately. The blend mode
is correctly set to Multiply as well. All you need to do is rename
the copy “Glass 3” and move it below Glass 2. We’re also fin-
ished with the guidelines, so press Ctrl+; (-;) to hide them.
The miraculous results are shown in Figure 5-15. - Turn on the Colors layer. Click in the space to the left of the
Colors layer to turn on the icon and make the layer visible.
We’ll use this layer, which I created by simply using the polygo-
nal lasso tool and the Fill command, to colorize our repeating
martini glasses. - Set the blend mode to Color. Click the Colors layer to make it
active, and set its blend mode to Color. This gives each of the
martini glasses its own distinctive vibrant hue, as you can see
in Figure 5-16 on the next page.
