Adobe Photoshop CS5 One-on-One

  1. Restore the shoulder. Obviously, our twirling has wreaked
havoc with the shoulder on the left side of the image. The re-
construct tool can sometimes restore previous pixel states to
amend for such damage. Set your brush to about 50 pixels,
and click a few times in an area in the shoulder to bring back
some reality. You may have to switch to the warp tool again to
lift the shoulder back up. The effect of my attempt is shown in
    Figure 8-20.

  1. Save your adjustments in progress. You’ve made decent prog-
ress, but you may want to come back and tweak this set of modi-
fications further. Were you to cancel out of the Liquify dialog
box now and come back to it, all your work would be gone. So
save this work by clicking the Save Mesh button. Name your
collection of Liquify settings “My Liquify Mesh” and click OK.
Once your changes have been safely stored, click OK again to
    return to Photoshop proper.

The directive is called Save Mesh because the
adjustments you made to the image are governed
by an invisible (usually) mesh that overlays the
image. If you’d like to see the mesh and what
you’ve done to it so far, turn on the Show Mesh
check box in the View Options area.
