- Manipulate the other letters. In Figure 8-33, you can see the
pins I set for distorting the other letters in the text layer. For
letters like the U and the M, I pulled up the tops of each stroke
separately and made sure to anchor the lower points with pins
of their own.
As you move between letters, you’ll notice that the pins in the previous
letters become gray. So in Figure 8-33, only my last letter, the J, has
active yellow pins. Photoshop treats each noncontiguous letter as an
independent objects. If you want to remanipulate another letter, simply
activate one of its pins by clicking it, and all the pins that you’ve placed
within that letter become yellow and active.
- Move and then stretch the comma. Place a single pin in the
middle of the comma, and then drag it upward so that the bot-
tom of the comma is right on the edge of the grass. When you
add only one pin, you can move the entire element by moving
that pin. Once you have the comma where you like, click to add
another pin at the bottom of the comma to anchor it. Finally,
grab the top pin in the comma and give it a stretch as well.
