- Zoom in on the dust spots. With the zoom tool, click
in the image to magnify the dust spots far above the boat
at the top of the sky. At the 100 percent view size, you
can see that the dust spots aren’t dust spots at all, but
blurry gulls, out beyond the focal range of the camera. - Select the spot removal tool. Click the eighth icon ( ) along
the top of the interface (shown in Figure 9-21) or press B (for
blemish) to select the spot removal tool. The moment you do,
Camera Raw displays a panel of options, empty except for
Type, Radius, and Opacity. Check to make sure Type is set to
Heal and Opacity is 100 percent; otherwise, you’re good to go.
