- Lasso the earring. That one stubborn area near her face is her
earring, which is going to remain dark no matter how often you
paint over it. Often the easiest thing is just to grab the lasso
tool, draw a selection around the area, as in Figure 10-42 (with
artificially cyan-colored marching ants for visibility), and press
Alt+Backspace (Option-Delete) to fill the area with white (the
foreground color). Deselect when you’re done by pressing
Ctrl+D (�-D).
