Adobe Photoshop CS5 One-on-One

(やまだぃちぅ) #1

  1. Delete the excess rows. By default, you should see four rows of
New Filenames options in the middle of the dialog box, as in
the figure. We don’t need that many. Click ( on the Mac)
to the right of the second row a total of three times to delete
    all but the first row.

  2. Enter a base name. By default, the row of New Filenames op-
tions begins with Text. If you see something else, click the
arrow (or arrow) to the right of the first option name and
choose Text from the pop-up menu. Double-click in the field to
the right of Text (which reads Project_ by default) and change it
to “MaxBedroomMural-” complete with the hyphen at the end.
This becomes the base name for all selected images.

  3. Assign a two-digit sequence number. Click (or ) at the end
of the line to add more text to the filenames. Choose Sequence
Number from the new pop-up menu on the left. Yet another
pop-up menu appears on the right; set this one to Two Digits,
which will sequentially number the selected images from 01
to 10, as indicated by the New Filename item (circled) in the
    bottom of Figure 1-36.

Figure 1-36.

You don’t have to start the numbering at 01; you can start it anywhere.
Just enter the desired starting number in the middle field, which is set
to 1 by default. Select as many digits as you need from the pop-up
menu. In other words, if you select Three Digits and want to start at
7, the Bridge would start at 007 whether you enter “7,” “07,” "007," or
"0007" as the starting number.
