- Select the rotate view tool. In the toolbox, press
and hold the hand tool and select the rotate view
tool from the flyout menu, as in Figure 2-14. Alter-
natively, you can press the R key. - Rotate the view 6 degrees. Drag in the image win-
dow to rotate the image. In the center of the win-
dow, you’ll see a white compass rose, with an inset
red-and-white pointer that rotates with the image.
You can eyeball the change, or monitor or modify
the Rotate Angle value in the options bar. Rotate
the image 6 degrees clockwise, which puts her eyes
and mouth on an even horizon, as in Figure 2-15.
To access the rotate tool temporarily, press and hold the R
key, drag with the tool in the image window, release the
mouse button, and then release the R key. Photoshop then
returns you to the previously active tool.
