u
sually, most of my expressions are rooted in deep philosophy of life. However, in this particular sculpture, I took
liberty to express something spontaneous and playful.
T
he approach to creating this sculpture is also quite unusual. While creating this sculpture, I first disassociated my
mind from the temporal. Then I took a lump of clay and started giving it shape of the abstract flow of my mind. The
result is a dynamic, complex yet balanced form, like of an unknown nimble dancer. Later, I realised that the dancer is
none other than my own mystical mind; hence I titled it- The Mystical Dancer.
