Exploring Lithuania

With its rich history and wealth of scenic beauty,
Lithuania offers many attractions. Its capital Vilnius pos-
sesses one of Europe’s finest Old Towns. While Vilnius
and Kaunas are the most vibrant cities, the less-visited
towns and villages, with their beautiful churches and
farm steads, and the coast, with its fasci nating sandy
dunes and beaches, also draw visitors. Trains are
cheap, but not frequent, and with few routes. The
coun try’s flat landscape makes it ideal for cycling.
