The complex structure of this statue illustrates the quality
and skill of Suku artists. The contradiction of the finely
carved details with the raw surfaces give it a great
dynamism. The curves of the hair, face, and arms bear
likeness to each other. The figure’s accessories are meant to
increase its magical power.
