EVEN the multi-billion pound

every club is as well placed as as

Bournemouth are one of the
clubs facing financial meltdown
and ruin by the situation.
Burnley chairman Mike Garlick
has warned his club could run out
of money by August and stand to
lose £50million in lost TV
revenue and gate receipts.
But Bournemouth have
particular difficulties in that
they rely hugely on TV
revenue with their small
stadium and big wage bill.

SOUTHGATE TUNED IN
GARETH SOUTHGATE has turned to technology in a
bid to keep England’s chances of winning the European
Championships on track.
Although the Euros have been put on hold until next
summer, Southgate – expected to take a 30 per cent
pay cut this week – has been fed hours of videos from
the FA’s technical team. A source said: “He has used
the lockdown to watch footage of teams and players
standing between England and winning the Euros.”
