nal competition was encouraged within a company, it resulted in
less creative work.
Is the investment industry moving toward more teamwork? I
don’t see much evidence of it, despite all the advertising puffery.
The investment industry still operates on the model of stars—tal-
ented virtuosos who rely on their own genius to collect, assimilate,
and process information and decide which investments to make.
Chapter 10 suggests a different, more powerful way for teams
to collaborate, based on the strengths of different personality styles.
