Sign Call Dialogue
When you have multiple For-Sale signs with your phone
number on them, you’ll soon be getting buyers calling you.
Sign calls are an excellent source of leads but you’ll get the
good with the bad. Here are some tips to turn your sign
calls into appointments.
Introduce Yourself
Introducing yourself, in essence, puts them in the posi-
tion to introduce themselves. Here is some dialogue that
demonstrates what I mean:
Buyer:“Hi, I’m calling about the house for sale on Sun-
nyside.”
Agent:“What a great property. I’m [Your Name], who
am I speaking with?”
B:“This is Ms. Jones.”
A:“Ms. Jones, I’d love to tell you all about the property
you’re calling about. But before I get started, is the num-
ber that you’re calling from the best way to reach you?”
[I assume you have caller ID.]
B:“Yes, this is my phone number.”
Do They Have an Agent?
Ask if they are working with an agent. If they are, you
can exchange the following dialogue:
Agent:“Are you working with an agent?”
Buyer:“Yes, we are.”
