Most fax machines have the option to program multiple
fax numbers into one group. For example, say you want to
fax the closest twenty-five real estate offices an open house
advertisement the morning of the open house. What you
can do is program the fax numbers of those twenty-five of-
fices into one group. When you’re ready to fax, the fax ma-
chine will automatically dial and send each fax one by one,
until every flyer is sent. This is a great tool that goes to
work for you while you’re getting your open house staged
and ready. If you are purchasing a fax machine, buy a fax
machine that has a group fax option. Each fax machine is
different, so follow the instructions that come with your
fax to carry out this task.


Broker’s Open


A broker’s open is an open house (usually during the week)
that invites other agents and brokers to the property. Holding
a broker’s open will give you feedback directly from the indus-
try experts about the pricing and sales potential of the prop-
erty that you’re selling. Here are some ideas on how to get
agents and brokers to come to your broker’s open.



  • Have a raffle drawing to win a prize.

  • Offer a free catered lunch at the broker’s open.

  • Have a wine and champagne party at your broker’s
    open (usually conducted in the early evening).

  • Give out gift certificates to a local coffee shop.
