Defining Your FSBO Boundaries


Once in a while you’ll come across a FSBO in a news-
paper classified ad and you’ll ask yourself, “Do I really
want to work that far away?” Before you start collecting
FSBO ads to build your database, you’ll need to define
your territory. That way, when you find a good source of
FSBO leads you’ll know which ones to take and which
ones to pass up. I will personally trek up to a twenty-mile
radius from my office for a listing. I feel that it’s worth it
for me to stay within those boundaries. You must deter-
mine yours. If you only concentrate on listings in a small
neighborhood, you’ll limit yourself and your income. Try
to take them where they come, within reason.
