The entrance to Anaconda Ice
Cave, Vatnajökull Glacier, Iceland.
The surface of the ice created an
amazing pattern which reflected
the incoming light. Most of the ice
caves melt during the summer,
partly because of the greenhouse
effect. Due to this, the
photographer says, ‘This kind of
beauty is fragile and transient.’
