yellow flowers and strong stems that
don’t require staking. Achillea
filipendulina ‘Gold Plate’, 4 1/2–5 ft. tall,
usually requires staking. Achillea
filipendulina ‘Parker’s Variety’, 3 1/2 ft.
tall, is very tough, drought tolerant,
and free standing even with winds in


the Midwest, but may need staking in
areas with hot, humid summers.
Produces abundant flowers for a long
period with deadheading.
