FISCAL SPONSORSHIP

We provide an organizational home in which activists

can develop campaigns and programs with a minimum

of bureaucracy. Today our fiscal sponsorship program

supports more than 75 projects across the United States

and around the globe — providing financial management,

administration, technical assistance, and training. Since our

founding in 1982, we have helped launch more than 150

NEW LEADERS INITIATIVE

We are committed to honoring, supporting, and sustaining

the next generation of environmental leaders. Each year our

Brower Youth Awards honors the work of six outstanding young

leaders, ages 13 to 22, for their environmental achievements.

Ongoing mentorship provides these young leaders with

the contacts and resources to take their advocacy further.

EARTH ISLAND ADVOCATES

Our legal arm uses the law to fight for justice for the planet’s

beautiful and varied ecosystems and inhabitants. Earth Island

Advocates is uniquely positioned to pursue this goal because

of the institute’s expansive network of projects, which

enables direct connections between lawyers who advocate

in the courts and environmental activists and experts.
