begun several years ago called EQUUS, an ambi-
tious endeavor in which the artist sought to channel
the work of Leonardo da Vinci and his portrayal of
“equine power.”
“Royo has truly put his heart and soul into this
collection and we hope it moves you, inspires you and
strikes an emotion within your own heart and soul,”
says the Cutter family, who own and operate Cutter
& Cutter Fine Art.
His artwork is imbued with power, capturing in precise
detail the physical forms of his subjects while main-
taining a skillful sense of composition, color, light and
shadow. “This new body of work justifies a whole life
painting. What connects themes together are women
and sensuality,” says Royo. “Inspiration is life.”
