The Assistant (2020)
Would-be film producer Jane (Julia
Garner) lands her dream job as a powerful
entertainment mogul’s junior assistant.
However, amid her usual predictable assistant
duties – making coffee, ordering lunch,
taking phone messages and so on – she
becomes more and more aware of the abuse
that colors every aspect of her workday, and
decides to take a stand against it.
