Start crocheting

This pattern is made using both amigurumi

style and joined rounds, follow instructions

to know if you need to join with a slip stitch

or continue working in a spiral. Use a st

marker when instructed to keep track of the

fi rst st of each round, moving the marker up

as you work.

With C, chain 2.

Rnd 1 (RS): 8 dc in 2nd ch from hook, pm

to indicate beg of rnd. 8 dc

Rnd 2: 2 dc in each st around. 16 dc

Rnd 3: [1 dc, 2 dc in next st] 8 times. 24 dc

Rnd 4: [2 dc, 2 dc in next st] 8 times. 32 dc

Rnd 5: [3 dc, 2 dc in next st] 8 times. 40 dc

Rnd 6: [4 dc, 2 dc in next st] 8 times. 48 dc

Rnds 7-13: Dc around.

Sl st in next st, fasten off leaving a long tail

for sewing.

Strands

Cut 48 strands, 76 cm long, in C. Fold one

strand in half. With RS facing and using

crochet hook, draw folded end up

through two loops of one st on Rnd 13

and pull loose ends through folded

end to tighten knot well. Repeat for

rem sts of Rnd 13.

With A, chain 2.

hook, pm to indicate beg of rnd.
