BOOST COLORS AND CONTRAST
Often prints will look dull and flat unless you boost the contrast of the image before
printing. A Curves Adjustment Layer is ideal for adding punch and enhancing color. Click the
Create Adjustment Layer icon and choose Curves, then plot an S-shaped curve as shown.

CROP AND RESIZE
The Crop Tool not
only lets you crop into
your image for a tighter
composition, but also
gives you the option to
change the resolution.
Grab the Crop Tool from
the toolbar then go to
the options at the top
and choose W + H +
Resolution. Set the print
size for width and height,
then set 300 pixels/inch.
