First up this month, we go hands-on with Tom

Clancy’s The Division 2. We were huge fans of the

first game here at OXM, having spent hundreds of

hours on it. Will the latest instalment of Tom Clancy’s

post-apocalyptic shooter live up to expectations?

Read our impressions on page 26! Another game for

which we are super-excited is FromSoftware’s

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This feudal Japanese

adventure promises to be a worthy and challenging

successor to From’s Dark Souls games. Find out

if wielding a katana against foes both human and

monster is as satisfying on page 28. Elsewhere, we

get to grips with the intriguing, rat-infested A Plague

Tale: Innocence (p32) and first-person dungeon

crawler Operencia: The Stolen Sun (p30). We’re

also weirdly happy to see a Mighty Morphin’ Power

Rangers game fighting game coming to Xbox One,

Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid (p31), as well

as a Kickstarter-funded remake of the massively

influential System Shock (p38). We also got hands-

on with a new isometric Diablo-style dungeon-

crawler set in the Warhammer universe. Find out

what we made of our first look at Warhammer:

Chaosbane on p34. Then we take a look at first-

person sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds – see what’s

new in the far reaches of space on page 39!

Chris’s pick
Warhammer
Chaosbane
I love a good couch
co-op isometric
hack’n’slash game,
and with a choice of
four characters,
warrior, dwarf, mage,
and elf, I’m getting all
kinds of Gauntlet
flashbacks...

Adam’s pick
A Plague Tale:
Innocence
Every time new info is
revealed about this
game I find it more
compelling. I’m
intrigued as to how
the relationship
between main
character Amicia and
her brother Hugo
develops through
their trials and
tribulations.

Drew’s pick
Sekiro: Shadows
Die Twice
FromSoftware
continually ignores
my requests for a true
Armored Core 2
follow-up (by which I
mean a good one).
But, until it delivers
the goods, I’ll take its
challenging Tenchu
spiritual successor.
