We’re gearing up for what should be one heck of a
year for Xbox. If we were to let ourselves get carried
away, we’d be packing for Los Angeles already,
so excited are we for the announcements we’re
sure will come out of Microsoft’s E3 conference in
June. We report on Xbox big cheese Phil Spencer’s
recent teasing of what Microsoft’s E3 plans might
be on page 18 this month. Before that, we talk all
things Electronic Arts following the surprise release
of new battle royale game Apex Legends, which
looks set to do very well for the company. We run
down all the news surrounding that and anything
else Apex Legends and Titanfall devs Respawn has
in the works, as well as other EA news (p8). The
world of Xbox is about to get a whole lot bigger, with
Microsoft’s plan to extend Xbox Live to Android
and iOS devices, and Nintendo Switch. See page
14! We love a bit of Dungeons & Dragons here at
OXM Towers, so we rolled a four-sided and an
eight-sided dice, cast an Illumination spell and found
out more about the forthcoming release of classic
Baldur’s Gate games on Xbox (p12)!
