‘I was sitting on a rock fi ghting with stubborn
wind and thick rain for the whole morning.
The sun came up when I was just about to
stand up and go home.’
As well as the grand prize winner, there
were also fi rst, second and third prizes
across travel, sports, urban life, nature and
creativity categories. There was also a video
section of the competition, the grand prize
winner of which was Ain Raadik, who shared
a collection of adventures from his travels
across New Zealand, Japan and Australia.
