Stitcher’s

guide

Our geo-style animals
are stitched on
14-count white aida
and are worked in
whole cross stitch
and backstitch only.
It takes around 30
hours to stitch the
whole set, so we
think stitchers of all
skill levels will enjoy
creating these works
of art.

These majestic animals make for fierce

hoop art with their bright colours and

geometric patterns!

Find the centre of your
fabric by folding it in half
horizontally and vertically.
Follow the arrows on the chart
to find its centre and start
stitching here, working your
way outwards.

2

Work the cross stitch using
two strands of cotton. This
set of designs uses 23 different
colours of thread, so make sure

you refer to the key as you
stitch so that you are always
working correctly.

3

Once you have completed
all of the cross stitch, then
you can add the backstitch
using one strand of cotton.

4

When you have finished all
the stitching, then carefully
check over your finished work
and prepare it for making up.
