“In daytime, the village of Santorini, Greece, is serene and beautiful,” Deborah
Sandidge observes. “However, just after sunset, the city lights begin to come
to life with a warm glow, and the sky takes a softer light as it presents its most
impressive colors to create a ‘time to come home’ feeling. To intensify the natural
gold and blue colors that I was seeing, I used a color-enhancing polarizer to
accentuate the golden colors for a more expressive image.”showcase
