With 4mm needles and RS facing, pick up
and k107[117:125:135:141] sts evenly around
armhole edge.
Beg with row 2, work 5 rows in rib as
on Back.
Cast of evenly in rib.
POCKET TOPS (BOTH ALIKE)
With RS facing, rejoin yarn to 31 pocket sts
and using 4mm needles knit 1 row.
Beg with row 2, work 4 rows in rib as
on Back.

BUTTON BORDER
With 4mm needles, cast on 9 sts evenly.
Beg with row 1, work a strip in rib to it up
Right Front edge to start of Front slope
shaping, allowing for Border to be slightly

Sew Button Border in position. Mark
position for 6 buttonholes, irst one to be
in 5th/6th rows, 6th one approx 4-8 rows

Row 1: Rib 3, cast of 3 sts, rib to end.
Row 2: Rib to end casting on 3 sts over

RIGHT COLLAR SECTION
Join shoulders.
With 4mm needles, cast on 9 sts.
Work 2 rows in g st.
Next row (inc row, forms inner edge of
Collar): K to last 2 sts, mk, k2.
Cont in g st, working inc row on every foll
4th row until there are 14 sts, then on every
foll 6th row until there are 20 sts. Finally
work inc row on every foll 8th row until
there are 25[26:26:27:28] sts.
Work straight until shaped edge its
up Right Front from start of front slope
shaping to top of shoulder, allowing for
Collar to be very slightly stretched, band
ending at straight edge.
Next row: K to last 4 sts, turn.
Next row: Sl1 irmly, k to end.
Work 4 rows straight.
Rep last 6 rows until shaped edge its
round to centre back of neck.

Work as Right Collar Section but working
3 rows in g st in place of 2 rows at start.
TO FINISH
Press work lightly on WS following any
yarn care instructions. Sew on Buttonhole
Border. Sew Collar Sections in position,
joining cast-of edges at back of neck.
Stitch Pocket Tops and Linings neatly in
place. Join side seams.
Sew on buttons.
Press seams.
