yarns, both of which are made in France. They include summery
women’s garments with on-trend details like frilled collars and
integrated short sleeves as well as makes for men, babies and
small children.

WARM TONES FOR
WARM WEATHER
Bold brights and warm shades dominate
the new additions to Rowan’s colour palette
this spring and summer season. Gently
flecked Coral, Sand, Pistachio and Jade
join the line-up for Denim Revive, a cotton
yarn made with recycled denim. Bright
Tangerine, Pear, Azalea and Bermuda have
been added to alpaca and fine Merino blend
Rowan Fine Lace, along with dark red Port
and deep blue-grey Mariana. And Softyak
DK, a blend of cotton, yak and nylon, gets
bold Tuscan Red and bright Jaune in its
range, along with more muted blues Albany
and Submarine, and khaki Canopy.
Rowan’s Magazine 67 is now on sale,
and its main story is a collection of designs
reinterpreting the twinset, with imaginative
and intriguing interpretations from Rowan
favourites including Lisa Richardson, Martin
Storey, Arne & Carlos, Kaffe Fassett and
Brandon Mably.

FRESH FROM FRANCE
Bergère de France has released two new cotton yarns. Pur Cotton
is a 100% organic cotton that knits up on 5mm needles to a roughly
aran-weight tension of 17 stitches and 22 rows to 10cm. It comes in
50g balls in a range of 10 classic bright and neutral shades.
Julienne is a colourful self-striping yarn that comes in a range
of six shade combinations. This 4 ply yarn is made from 100%
