eight solid shades, covering neutrals as well
as on-trend deep chalky pastels.

and cardigans and lots of accessories.

IF PARADISE WERE HALF AS NICE
King Cole has added a new DK to its Beaches range –
Paradise Beaches. This blend of 70% acrylic and 30%
polyamide comes in 100g balls in eight pastel shades
named after cocktails: White Lady, White Russian, Pina
Colada, Silver Martini, Blue Jamaica, Electric Lemonade,
Pink Gin and Strawberry Daiquiri. The yarn will knit
to any King Cole DK pattern, is perfect for adults’ and
children’s garments and is machine-washable at 40ºC.

FEELING FRUITY
Cheeky fruits are the theme of Rico’s
summer collection for babies and small
children. The collection includes raglan
jumpers with cute intarsia fruit motifs,
dungarees with apples on the pockets and
super-simple beanie hats with short stems
to make your little ones look extra tasty.
For its women’s collections the German
brand is focusing on restrained Nordic-
inspired style in whites and other pale
neutral shades, as well as a range of on-
trend summery knits in both pastels and
brights, featuring oversized sweaters, loose-
fitting jackets and lightweight accessories.
There are plenty of really simple designs
for easy, relaxed knitting as well as lots
of techniques including lace, cables and
innovative shaping.
