30% wool (approx 200m per 100g)
6[6:7:7:8] x 100g balls in 100 Oban
4mm and 5mm needles
4mm double-pointed needles
2 stitch holders

Note: Yarn amounts given are based
on average requirements and are
approximate.
TENSION
18 sts and 25 rows to 10cm over rev st st
using 5mm needles.
22 sts width to 10cm over patt using
5mm needles.
Use larger or smaller needles if necessary
to obtain correct tension.
ABBREVIATIONS
m1p = pick up and purl into back of
horizontal strand lying before next st
TW2 = slip next st, k1, pass slipped st over
st just knitted and knit into back of it
TW3 = slip next 2 sts, k1, pass 2nd st on RH
needle over first st and knit into back of it,
now pass 3rd st on RH needle over first
2 sts and knit into back of it
