A GENUINE GOOGLE MAPS COMPETITOR

Apple has worked hard to give Apple Maps
some attention in recent years, and iOS 14
adds even more new functionality. Though it
may look the same on paper, Apple confirmed
that more detailed maps are rolling out across
Canada, the UK, and Ireland in 2020, and cities
such as Paris and London congestion zones to
reduce traffic have been clearly labeled, as have
speed and red-light cameras to ensure you don’t
miss a potential hazard or fine spot.

Cycling directions have been added to Maps,
including bike paths and bike-friendly roads,
and EV routes have been clearly labeled for the
first time, including charging time estimates.
Another interesting new enhancement
is Guides, which is a renamed version of
Collections which was introduced in iOS 13.
Apple has partnered with a number of brands
to create new curated guides, and they can be
saved for later reading, even when offline.
