Did the season feel like a rollercoaster – 25 points
clear but then unclear if the season could restart?
Listen, when the season shut down there were bigger
things to worry about than football. I have very close family
members with what were termed as ‘underlying health
issues’. I’ve got close family in care-homes and important
people in my life who are key workers and were exposed
by having to keep working.
So in those moments, like everyone, I’m sure, my priority
was that people were safe and healthy and not impacted
by this terrible thing. But yeah, at the same time football
is my job and I’m sure everyone who couldn’t work was
thinking about when they could again.
