AIR PLAY
Portofino, Capri, Cannes: These
might sound like ports of call on
the world’s most glamorous sail-
ing trip, but in fact, they’re some of
the locations you’ll be able to pick
up Loro Piana’s linen collection
this summer. The Italian textile
behemoth has been long beloved
for its ultraplush Mongolian cash-
mere. Now it’s aiming to outfit you
for warmer weather with its linen
collection, out this month.
The line was built with jet-
setters in mind. “For today’s in-
ternational adventurers, there is
always summer—with its colors
and joyfulness—somewhere,” says
Fabio d’Angelantonio, the brand’s
global CEO. For that reason, the
five-piece collection is exclusively
available at popular resort locales
as well as at the brand’s global flag-
ships. It features comfy-chic white
tunics, drawstring pants, and
cinch-waist frocks. And the fabric
is treated with aloe vera to give it
a soft, wrinkle-resistant finish. So
go ahead, throw it in your suitcase.
THE ACTRESS
Catch Diana Silvers (pictured at
left) in a pair of summer flicks: op-
posite Oscar winner Octavia Spen-
cer in the horror film Ma, and in
Olivia Wilde’s teen-nerd wish-
fulfillment tale, Booksmart. (For
more on the latter, see page 100.)
