(^11) Place the lining inside the main
fabric bag, matching the seams,
then reposition the clips to secure
both layers together, aligning the
topfoldededges.
(^12) Sew around the top edge using
a 0.25cm (") seam allowance and
a longer stitch length –we set our
machineto2.6.
(^13) To secure the bag when using,
close the top edge and roll it
towards the front of the bag twice,
sticking the Velcro strips together.
Forthepicnicbag
(^14) Mark and cut out a 92 x 42cm
(36 x 16") piece from both
Fabric A (the bag lining) and Fabric
B (thebagouter).
(^15) Repeat Steps 2-13, this time
using Fabric B to make the bag
outer, and Fabric A to make the
bag lining. To make an even bigger
version, cut two larger pieces of
oilcloth. If preferred, the notches
can be made wider accordingly,
and a longer strip of Velcro used to
secure the top closed.
