Want a more
eco-friendly life
but not sure
where to start?
The Red team

share the simple

ways they are
making a
difference to
their daily
routines...

We have replaced clingfilm with
reusable beeswax wraps for everything
from the Cheddar in our fridge to the
sandwiches in my daughters’ lunchboxes
(beeswaxwraps.co.uk).
We’ve also bought glass KeepCups (drinks
taste better in them than in plastic) and
carry them at all times, instead of buying
coffee in disposable cups (keepcup.com).
Finally, for our next family car, we want
something more sustainable. After having
driven a DS 7 Crossback for many months,

and appreciating the comfort, size and
technology (automated parking, adaptive
cruise control), the latest DS 7 E-Tense,
which shares all these features, plus has a
plug-in hybrid engine, allowing us to drive
electric in the city but convert to petrol for
longer journeys, seems the perfect next
step for us (dsautomobiles.co.uk).
The household recycling has become
one of the kids’ pocket money jobs – it’s
a simple but effective way to manage our
waste and educate them at the same time.
