grounds on the north Norfolk coast,
features more than 200 South American
animals, plus an indoor play area, Jungle
Tumbles. The zoo is split into 21 zones
and packed with educational material
from the animals to its entertaining
animal feeds. Get ready to see jaguars,
monkeys, peccaries, otters, owls, macaws,
parrots, capuchins, spiders, snakes,
flamingos, rheas, guinea pigs, iguanas,
caimans, pumas and tapirs. There’s also an
impressive outdoor play area, Rainforest
Springs with jumping pillows.

2020 is a milestone year for Woburn
Safari Park in Bedfordshire as it celebrates
the park turning 50 years old. The 300-
plus acre park is home to species such
as southern white rhino, elephants,
tigers, giraffe and black bears. Recent
developments include a large expansion
to the lion pride’s home and an expansion
for the park’s Humboldt penguins’
space. Families can also ride through
the Alpaca Outpost paddock and pop
into the Discovery Zone to meet reptiles,
amphibians and invertebrates.

Take to the skies

At IWM Duxford families can board
the Concorde, the passenger turbo-jet
airliner that travelled faster than the
speed of sound. You can walk through
the same hangers and buildings as
those who served at RAF Duxford and
see the aircraft from the airfield that
Spitfires first flew. Get up close to over
a century of aviation with hundreds of
aircraft on display.
