The Eden Project in Cornwall houses two biomes with over
1,000 varieties of plant from many diverse climates and
environments. Nestled in a huge crater is the largest rainforest
in captivity with year-round family events and exhibitions all
in the tropical heat of four different environments: Tropical
Islands, Southeast Asia, West Africa and Tropical South
America. The enormous trees and winding paths into the vast
interior are dramatic and you can even try a canopy walkway,
or see a waterfall and Orchid Pergola.

The Bear Grylls Adventure located permanently at NEC
Birmingham is a great day out for thrill-seeking groups,
young and older. As the venue promotes family bonding
time, mobile phones aren’t permitted, so it allows parents and
children to be present in their adventure. With ten different
activities to stimulate the mind, body and develop problem
solving, it’s the ultimate family-friendly day out, and not
only provides fun but mental positivity for children and
adults looking for a challenge. Children aged eight and over
can choose from iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Shark Dive, High
Ropes, Indoor Archery,
Indoor Climb, Escape
Rooms, Fear Zone, Indoor
Shooting, Snorkel and an
Assault Course.
