We’re big fans of the Elder Scrolls Online here at

OXM, so we’re thrilled that a new, huge chapter for

the MMORPG is on its way. Introducing a new zone

to Tamriel, Elseweyr promises yet more hours of

quests, content and cat people. Find out what to

expect in the Khajiit homeland on page 24, and if

you like that, you might also want to check out our

interview with the don of ESO, Matt Firor, from page

  1. Back to the previews though, we’re getting very

excited about vampire RPG Bloodlines 2 (p26). It’s

a sequel to a well-received ’00s PC game Vampire:

The Masquerade - Bloodlines, and now it looks like

you’ll soon be vamping your way around Seattle on

your Xbox. Another HP Lovecraft-inspired game is on

the way, too, and we find out more about detective-

slash-horror game The Sinking City on page 28.

Next is the post-apocalyptic roguelike Rad (p30),

and three ’90s game series being revisited: side-

scrolling beat-’em-up Streets of Rage 4 (p33), SNK

sword fighter Samurai Shodown (p34) and point-

and-click cyberpunk adventure Beyond A Steel

Sky (p35). Borderlands 3 (p36) is now officially

announced (much more on that next month), so

we have the latest on that, plus the first real look at

the latest Wolfenstein shooter, Wolfenstein:

Youngblood (p38).

Chris’ pick
Elseweyr
As a long-time player
of Elder Scrolls Online,
it’s great to see so
much exciting new
content coming for
the MMORPG this year,
and I can’t wait to
explore the new zone.

Robin’s pick
Rad
I love the idea of an
RPG where every
level-up scrambles
your DNA in different
weird ways. Finally,
mutants get to be the
good guys for once!

Drew’s pick
Streets Of Rage 4
I’m stoked to relive
my childhood
smashing up bad
guys in this surprise
beat-’em-up sequel. I
just hope Yuzo
Koshiro returns to do
the soundtrack.
