Sadly you can’t build a sprawling
mansion the envy of even Jeff Bezos;
your camp has limits. In build mode, keep an
eye on the ‘Budget’ bar in the top-right that
shows the remaining items for which your
settlement has space.RECLAMATION DAY
1 Establishing your camp is one of the
first things you do in Fallout 76. Get
started by hitting Z in Pip-Boy mode. You
can hit the same key to move to different
camping spots, but there’s a mounting cost
in caps for doing so.LOCATION, LOCATION
2 Save caps by placing your camp far
from Vault 76, the only other place you
can fast travel to for free. Try to set up near a
body of water so you’ve got a ready supply,
and on high ground so you’re overlooking
any invaders that come for you.JUNK MAIL
3 Pilfer everything that you find. If you
need a specific type of material, press
X at a crafting station to ‘Tag For Search’
missing materials. All corresponding items
found in the world will then have a
magnifying glass icon next to them.ALLIED POWERS

Now the Wastelanders update is out,
you can recruit allies to help you
protect your camp. Once you’ve reached
level 20 to trigger ally missions, find
Commander Sofia Daguerre in The Mire and
Beckett in Ash Heap.
