Model O Minus

GLORIOUS $55

The best competitive gaming mouse

When the Model O
Minus (the Model O is
slightly larger) weighs in
at 58 grams, and is stuffed with
both the functionality you really
need in a competitive gaming
mouse and RGB lighting, I think
we can look past its eccentric
“look at me” appearance.
I’m not a huge fan of the looks
of the Glorious Model O Minus.
It’s sort of ugly. What is with those
cutouts? But each to their own, I
suppose—you can just drop your
angry letter onto the pile
alongside the ones from that time
I called Noctua’s brown/beige
fans ‘pretty’. What I do applaud
the Model O Minus for is its stellar

value, incredible performance,
and light as a feather design.
Glorious has truly nailed down
what’s necessary in a gaming
mouse to give you the
competitive edge you require
in-game. It’s fitted with a superb
Pixart 3360 sensor, reliable
switches, a color-coded DPI
switcher, and a lightweight and
flexible cable that won’t distract
you when you’re in the middle of a
game of Call of Duty.

G Pro Wireless

LOGITECH $150

Wireless gaming without sacrifice

Every gaming mouse is
selling itself on
improving invisible
odds. Slivers of latency, marginal
improvements, millisecond
responses—you know it’s better
than that yellowing office rodent,
but you have to work on your own
skills to unlock all of its potential.
Well, except the G Pro Wireless,
which had a seemingly immediate
effect on my gaming proficiency.
Perhaps it was the shift from a
wired mouse to the freedom of a
wireless one, or maybe it’s my
inclination to lighter mice—the G
Pro was by far the lightest I’d tried
at that time. Either way, my K/D
was grateful for the change.

Powering that experience is
the HERO 16K sensor, a highly
responsive and instantaneous
sensor and the same one within
the superb G502 Lightspeed.
That’s housed within an
endoskeletal shell to keep it light
and fleet of foot on your mouse
mat. Beyond that, the G Pro’s
formula is straightforward—aside
from the replaceable thumb
switches that turn this into an
ambidextrous hero.
