has created two versions of its impressive

new family SUV. Both use a turbocharged

2.0-litre petrol engine – pumping out

302bhp in the GLA 35 and 416bhp in the

GLA 45 S – and four-wheel drive. Of course,

they also get more aggressive looks,

including a bespoke front grille, and rmer

Fiat 500e

It’s a Fiat 500, Jim, but not as we know

it. This chic new city car has cautiously

evolved styling but is a bit bigger, has

an upmarket new interior and, crucially,

is electric-only. A 42kWh battery gives it

a range of up to 199 miles and can be

charged from 0-80% in just 35 minutes.

You’ll need an extra £2005 for a soft-top.

And don’t worry: the current petrol 500

will continue beside it. Price £29,995
