Join one short side of a pink
triangle to the left of the short side
of an Aqua triangle. Press SA to one side.
Join the larger triangle to the long side
of a larger white triangle cut for this
row. Repeat.

For LH side of Row 3, take two
four-triangle squares and join
on the long edge of the Aqua triangles.
Stitch to each end of this piece, white/
Raspberry/rectangle from Step 14. (See
Pic M.) Stitch the column to the left of
the central square. Repeat, then stitch to
the right of the central square.

For top of Row 3, jon two four-
triangle squares (from Step 16) on
the long edge of the Raspberry triangles.
Stitch a white/Aqua/rectangle to each
end of this rectangle,

Add a square from Step 16 to the
left of this piece, so the Aqua

triangle forms an arrow-head shape.
(See Pic N.) Add another square from
Step 16 to the right of this, so the Aqua
triangle forms an arrowhead shape. (See
Pic O.) Pin and stitch the row to the top
of the central square.

Repeat steps 23 and 24. Pin
and stitch to the bottom of the
central square.

For Border 4, join two 22½" strips
at the short end and add to the
left of the central square. Join two more
and add to right of the square as in
Border 2.

Join two 24½" strips at the short
end and add to the left of the
central square. Join two more and add to
the top and bottom of the square.

For Row 4, lay out one Raspberry
square for every four pink
squares. Make the top row of one block,
joining squares white/pink/white. Press
SA inwards. Make the middle row of one
block, joining squares pink/Raspberry/

pink. Press SA outwards. Make the bottom
row of one block, joining squares white/
pink/white. Press SA inwards. Join three
rows, ensuring the vertical seams are
aligned. SA should go in opposite directions
to each other where these seams join.

Repeat Step 28 35 more times. This
quilt has six blocks in each colour
combination when finished.

Make LH column first, by joining
eight blocks end to end. Stitch the
column to LH side of the central square.

For RH column, join eight blocks end
to end. Stitch to the RH side of the
central square.

For the top row, join 10 blocks. Stitch
this above the central square.

For the bottom row, join 10 blocks.
Stitch this below the central square.
