Catching up with friends old and new had
to be of the biggest highlights. You really
can’t beat spending time with like-minded
people, surrounded by quilts and fabric –
it doesn’t get much better than that.
And of course, no trip to Austin would
be complete without visiting some of
the more authentic restaurants in town.
A great night was had soaking up the
atmosphere of live country music and
watching people dance the two-step!
And before I knew it, QuiltCon was over
and we were on the long plane journey
home back to London. But being there
was worth the 10-hour long fl ight, and I
can’t wait to go back.Next year, it’s going to be hosted in
Atlanta, Georgia, and in 2022 it will be
in Phoenix, Arizona. Going to all these
wonderful destinations to meet up with
this amazing quilting community really
