Take the two 13x21½" rectangles

and on one long edge of each

press under ¼" and stitch down.

On one of the rectangles, on

the stitched edge, fold over 1"

so that wrong sides are facing, press

and pin in place.

Place the rectangle with the folded

edge on top of the cushion front,

with the right sides facing, with the

folded edge in the middle and pin

around the outer edge. Pin the second

rectangle onto the cushion front

so that the stitched edge overlaps the fi rst

rectangle in the centre. (See Pic G.)

Stitch around the outer edge of

the cushion. Clip the corners and turn

through.

Press well, then top-stitch

with the grey thread in the ditch, in

the blue border, all the way around the

cushion to create a folded outer edge.

Insert the cushion pad to fi nish.
