5 ) Referring to Diagram 4, sew together
nonmatching pieced triangles from one
set in pairs. Join pairs to make a block. The
block should be 8^1 ⁄ 2 " square including seam
allowances.
6 ) Repeat Step 5 with remaining sets of pieced
triangles to make 36 blocks total.
ASSEMBLE QUILT TOP
1 ) Referring to Quilt Assembly Diagram, lay
out blocks in six rows. Vanessa arranged
her blocks so that the black, aqua, tan,
green, pink, and coral blocks were grouped
together diagonally across the quilt top.
2 ) Sew together blocks in rows. Press seams
in one direction, alternating direction with
each row. Join rows to complete quilt top.
Press seams in one direction.
FINISH QUILT
1 ) Layer quilt top, batting, and backing; baste.

2 ) Quilt as desired. Natalia Bonner machine-
quilted an allover swirl design across the
quilt top.
3 ) Bind quilt with aqua dot binding strips.
